In accordance with Local Lodge 1979 By-laws Article VIII, membership is being served notice for the submission of proposed changes to Local Lodge 1979 By-laws.

• Members wishing to submit proposals to Local Lodge by-laws must submit them to the Recording Secretary by the first meeting in the month of April.

• All proposals must be in writing, signed by not less than five (5) members.
They will be referred to a By-laws committee appointed by the President.

• Proposals will be read as written at two (2) consecutive meetings.

First reading will be May 12, 2008
Second reading June 09, 2008

• Only bylaw proposals that do not conflict with the Grand Lodge Constitution canbe legally forwarded to the Grand Lodge for approval

Immediately following the second reading, the By-laws committee shall submit their recommendations, and a vote will be taken on their recommendations.

Please, one proposal per form. A proposal form will be forthcoming.
