OFFICIAL NOTICE-LOCAL LODGE 1979 BYLAW AMENDMENTS

In accordance with Local Lodge 1979 By-laws Article VIII, membership is served notice for the reading and voting of proposed changes to Local Lodge 1979 By-laws.

• Proposals will be read as written at two (2) consecutive meetings.

First reading will be    July      14, 2008
Second reading           August 11, 2008

• Only by-law proposals that do not conflict with the Grand Lodge Constitution can be legally forwarded to the Grand Lodge for approval.

Immediately following the first reading, volunteers will be solicited from the membership to review all by-law proposals that were submitted in order to provide recommendations and reasons for their recommendations at the next meeting.

Immediately following the second reading, the By-laws committee shall submit their recommendations, and a vote will be taken on their recommendations.
